Long long ago, a little girl called Dot lived in Kansas. One day, when Dot and her dog were in the house, a strong wind came and the house went up into the air. When the house hit the ground, she found that she was not in Kansas any more.
"Where am I? How can I go back home?" Dot was very worried. At that moment, a kind old lady passed by. "Follow this road," she said, "and you will find the Wizard of Oz. He can help you."
On the way, Dot met Lion in the forest. He wanted to be brave. Dot smiled, "Don't worry. The Wizard of Oz can help you!" Later they saw Tin Man without heart(心脏). "Let's visit the Wizard of Oz. He can give you a heart," said Dot. Then they met Scarecrow. He wanted to have a brain(大脑).
"Come with us!" smiled Dot.
After the friends got to the city of Oz, Dot shouted, "Please help us. I want to go home. Lion wants to be brave. Scarecrow wants to be clever. Tin Man wants a heart." "We need help! A bad witch(女巫) in Oz wants to take people's lives. Please stop her first," said the wizard sadly.
The friends went to the bad witch quickly. They fought against(与……对抗) the witch's monkey first. Lion was not afraid of monkeys. He was brave. Tin Man was kind enough to take care of Dot's dog. He had a warm heart.
At that moment, it started to rain. "Oh, dear! I need an umbrella," said the witch. Scarecrow had a great idea.
