Once upon a time, there was a nice shoemaker (鞋匠). He worked very hard and was very honest. (1)

One evening, he and his wife decided to find out who helped them. They left a light on and hid themselves behind the door. (5) They made each of them some clothes and a little pair of shoes to keep warm. When the dwarfs saw the clothes, they dressed themselves and danced.
