Last year I went to an island with my friends on vacation. It was my first visit to the island! I left home early in the morning. We met and got on the ship at about 7:00. It took us eight hours to go there.
When we got there, I was surprised at the weather there. It was already October, but we just needed to wear T-shirts and shorts. We went to the beach to enjoy the sunshine. The scenery was beautiful. We had a picnic, went for a long walk along the beach and took lots of pictures.
The next day, we took the local train to another beautiful city on the island. We visited the citadel and the museum there. We learned more about the history and enjoyed the beautiful scenery of the city.
The food was fantastic and we visited the market to taste something delicious. We also went to some local restaurants for dinner and ate fresh seafood. At the end of the trip, we were very sorry to leave.
