Do you like sports? If your answer is yes, sometimes you'll find it difficult to have enough time to do sports, even on weekends. However, you don't have to worry about it because of the Sunshine Sports Program. It was started by the Ministry of Education(教育部).
It says that students around the country should have an hour of sports every day. Students can do any sport they like. The purpose(目的) of the program is to make students happy and keep them healthy.
John from Chaoyang Middle School likes the idea. John and his classmates play volleyball together. "I am relaxed after sports," John says.
Jack, a boy from Guangzhou, welcomes the idea too. "It's good to be able to have some fresh air instead of(而不是) sitting in the classroom." But the 14-year-old student wants to know if there will be enough places for everyone. "With so many students outside," he says, "I'm afraid there won't be enough standing places on the playground."
Lucy's school is in Shantou. Her favourite sport is running. Lucy and other students like running for 40 minutes every morning. "It's tiring," Lucy says. "But we do feel healthier. We hope we can do what we want."
