Lucy took a deep breath as she entered Sunshine Middle School. Her hands felt sweaty(出汗的), and her backpack seemed heavier than usual. When she walked into Class 3B, a boy with messy curly(卷曲的) hair waved at her. “Hi! You must be Lucy. I’m Tom. Your desk is next to mine!” he said cheerfully. His bright smile made Lucy feel a little relaxed.
