National Grandparents Day
National Grandparents Day is on the first Sunday after Labour Day in September in America. It is a day to show love to grandparents. Some countries have this day every year. It is always important to respect（尊敬）your elders.
The night before National Grandparents Day, Nancy and May can't go to sleep because they would like to do something for their grandparents. At last, May gets a good idea. The next morning the children get up early. They make breakfast for their grandparents. " Oh, what a surprise!" their grandparents cry.
Our grandparents know so much about life. They teach us a lot. Sometimes our grandpa teaches us how to fish or play chess. Sometimes our grandma shows us how to plant flowers or cook delicious food. So please think about how much your grandparents do for you, and remember your grandparents need your help too. Maybe they would just want to see you or hear you on the phone!
