人与社会畅想未来「2026河北廊坊霸州期末」
In today’s English class, Mr Miller asked us to think about the life in 50 years.
“Climate change and other pollution problems will get worse and influence the world badly,” Sam said. Mr Miller asked us what we could do to make our planet better. Emma said, “We can start from small things, like saving water, turning off lights when we leave rooms, and using both sides of paper.”
After hearing Emma’s words, Mr Miller smiled and said, “Good job! Every small act counts. Scientists are also working hard to solve the pollution problems.”
Another boy, Peter, said, “In the future, we will live better. We will have robots at home. They can help us do housework such as cooking, washing and cleaning. They can be a tutor(家庭教师)to teach us. They can also tell us how to solve our health problems.”
Judie said, “People will live longer in the future. Some scientists are testing medicine(药)to help people live longer. By 2050, people may live to be over 100 years old.”
