Saving the rainforest
One US company has already found an important new medicine. It comes from a kind of plant found in the rainforests of Ecuador (厄瓜多尔). Research shows that the medicine may save kids with lung problems. So medicine companies are working to save the rainforests. When people buy medicines made from rainforest plants, part of the money may be used to help save the rainforests.
