Alex was looking for a new job after leaving his old position, as he hoped to find a place where he could develop his skills better. He had sent his application(申请)to many companies over the past month, and he often stayed up late checking his email, waiting for a reply. Weeks of hard work finally brought results when he got a call from a famous tech company—one he had long admired. The interview offer made him very excited, so he spent the whole night preparing, checking common interview questions and practising his answers aloud.
On the interview day, Alex got up early, and packed a well-prepared personal introduction. He arrived an hour ahead of time, walked around the company's lobby to calm down, and reminded himself to stay confident. When the interview started, the interviewer, a kind middle-aged man, greeted him warmly and asked about his work experience and past projects.
Alex answered all the questions confidently, talking about how he always tried his best to solve problems and learn new things quickly. The interviewer nodded from time to time, which made Alex feel more relaxed. However, towards the end, the last question caught him off guard. "Imagine you're working on a project, and one of your teammates is too worried to continue because it's too difficult. What will you say to cheer him up?"
Alex took a deep breath and thought for a while. He thought about the importance of teamwork and how supporting each other could make difficult tasks easier. Then he replied gently, "
Let's support each other and cooperate to finish the project together.
."
The interviewer smiled warmly. "Congratulations, you're hired! Welcome to our team."
