Fast walking is the exercise between walking and running. A study shows that fast walking is becoming more and more popular in China and many people walk more than 5 000 steps (步) a day. In the study, about 37% of the people choose fast walking as their favourite exercise; more than 23% choose running and more than 14% choose riding bikes.

Because fast walking is easy. Almost anyone can do it at any time. You don't need to go to the gym to do it. You don't need to spend a lot of money walking either. Spend 15 minutes walking fast every day, and you'll feel healthier.
