Have you ever heard of "shikumen" in Shanghai? It is a type of building that has both Western and traditional Chinese features (特征). It is an important part of Shanghai-style culture.
Sadly, even many Shanghai people don't know it now. As new buildings are built in Shanghai, many shikumen-style buildings have been taken down. To make a difference, students from Shanghai International Studies University founded (成立) a group called "Meeting Shikumen" to let more people know about it.
