For most of us, watching a movie is a pretty common thing to do. But for the blind, it can
be very difficult. In Kunming, Yunnan Province, there is a blind-friendly theatre. 1.
More than 5,000 volunteers help at the Xindeng Theatre. Most of them are university students.
Their job is to narrate movies to blind moviegoers. 2.
They will learn how to
narrate a movie from Zhou Quan, the founder of Xindeng Theatre.
Every Saturday, volunteers will come to the bus stop to pick up the blind and take them to the

describes what is happening on the screen, including facial expressions, unspoken gestures,
the background and costumes. With the help of the narrator, the blind immerse themselves in

light on their lives."
