Peter Pan is always one of the most famous children's books. The British writer James Matthew Barrie writes this book. James likes writing stories and sharing them with his friends.
The book tells the story of Peter Pan and his "mother" Wendy. One night when Mr and Mrs Darling go out, Wendy meets Peter Pan, a little boy who never grows up. Peter teaches Wendy and her brothers to fly and takes them away to a place called Neverland. They have a lot of adventures(冒险) together. Wendy and her brothers have a good time there, but they miss their parents sometimes. So one day, they plan to go back home, but the bad man, Captain Hook, catches them. Peter fights with Hook and saves them at last. After that, the children fly back to their home in London.
Never growing up is many children's dream, but they can't refuse(拒绝) to grow up. What's more, after reading the story, I think it's a pity that we forget something beautiful as we grow up.
