Fairies(仙女) must have a pet friend. Some only stay with them; others are more u 1 . Wenda was very lucky to have a clever cat called Caldor. Every time she tried to do something that other fairies did, she would make a mistake. But her clever cat was a 2 there to help her out.
She could have done things more c 3 , but she never did. However, she was always trying to help people when she could.
She once tried to help her neighbour g 4 some beautiful flowers in her garden. She m 5 up the potion(魔水) and her neighbour sprayed(喷) it all over the dry grass. I 6 of beautiful flowers, thick vines(藤) grew up overnight and covered the whole house, keeping the light from the windows. Caldor watched Wenda the whole time and knew e 7 what she did wrong. He helped get the terrible garden back and taught Wenda to c 8 the right potion, and soon the garden was bursting(爆满) with colour and life.
Wenda once wanted to hold a party for all of her friends. But she forgot to send out the invitations, so n 9 knew there was a party. Caldor noticed that and sent out mail at once. Soon, the replies(回复) flooded in, letting him know that everyone would be there. On the day of the party, Wenda slept in until midday. L 10 , Caldor was up early and prepared for the big event.

All in all, Caldor was a clever cat and always came in handy!

These clever elephants are part of the Thai Elephant Conservation Centre(TECC), a place that h 3 protect elephants and teaches people how to care for these gentle giants.
Richard Lair, an expert working with the TECC, thought that elephants are smart and have great hearing, s 4 they could do even more. He came up with the idea to see if elephants could play music. So, Lair and his friend s 5 the Thai Elephant Orchestra(管弦乐队).
