A recent survey（调查）was carried out among young Chinese people. It shows that young Chinese are less good at expressing thoughts and ideas. Half of those young people said they had poor verbal skills（口头表达能力）. And 40% of them said they had trouble expressing themselves well in writing.
Poor education could be a reason for poor communication skills, but that may not explain everything. Of the 1,333 young people, most were well-educated.
